Echocardiography, ECG & Holter
Pediatric cardiology diagnosis relies on painless, radiation-free tests, carried out with equipment adapted for newborns, infants, children, teenagers and adults.
The heart ultrasound (echocardiography) is performed with a modern GE Vivid system and shows the anatomy of the heart, the valves, blood flow and the function of the heart muscle in precise detail.
An ECG records the heart’s electrical activity within a few minutes and is complemented by a blood pressure measurement during the examination. In addition, rhythm and blood pressure Holter monitors record the heart rhythm and blood pressure, usually over 24 hours, during the child’s normal daily routine.
